Ferguson Subaru Gives Back To The Community

KRMG's Rick Couri was recently at Ferguson Subaru to celebrate Subaru Loves To Care. The project encourages local Subaru dealers to support projects within their own community.  Couri was on hand to chat with Ferguson Subaru's Cody Teergerstorm about what they are doing to help Tulsa, Broken Arrow and the surrounding communities.

Ferguson Subaru donated blankets and Craft Kits to Oklahoma Cancer Specialists And Research Institute for people going through treatment .  The blankets will help keep patient warm and they hope the craft kits will help kids whose parents are in treatment, or might be in treatment themselves, to keep entertained.

“We are donating blankets and Craft Kits to help the kids by giving them crayons and things to kinda get their mind off what they are going through or what their parents are going through. We just want to show them that Subaru cares about our community and provide them some love,” explain Teegerstorm.

The infusion room’s can be very cold, explain Couri. “They need those blankets to stay warm.” Teergerstorm said Ferguson Subaru likes to do these kinds of things for the comminty.

“Ferguson Subaru signed the Sabaru love promise, and our main goal in that is to tell our community we care about them. Not just care for our customers, but care for the whole community. We want to make an impact in the world and the whole Tulsa and Broken Arrow Community. This is just one way we can do that and hopefully help those patients out and we hope they get just a little bit of comfort and we hope it will do some good.” said Teergerstorm.
